In March 2017 Janine was approached by Vattessa Colbung co-founder of Desert Gem. She was partnered to create an amazing artwork piece, which was silk ink painted onto fabric for one of the Desert Gem dresses who was a designer entrant at Kalgoorlie Fashion Week 2017.

Desert Gem’s collection is called “Nyuwaari” which comes from the Wangkatja language meaning glamour, pretty, vivacious.
