Dear Vattessa, Bega Garnbirringu Health Services (Bega) would like to thank Desert Gem for your participation in Bega’s Homeless Week.Your donation of footwear was extremely well received by the clients at our sobering up shelter, especially for the client who did not previously have access to any footwear. The artwork and decoration on the footwear created a sense of ownership and pride for our clients. Desert Gem was extremely thoughtful, easy to work with and generous during the this time. We look forward to working with you further in the future. Kind regards, Clive Holt, Chief Operations Officer.
Just received my Desert Gem flip flops, very comfortable and easy to wear for daily outings. Loving the unique designs, great quality and at a good price. (5 stars)
Wonderful website, I like it 🙂 (5 stars)
Horizon Power engaged Desert Gem for graphic design work reflecting our commitment to working with Aboriginal businesses in Western Australia, under the WA State Government Aboriginal Procurement Policy. Desert Gem provided a unique and beautiful design which captures our presence in regional WA and connection between each of our offices and the surrounding Aboriginal communities. Vattessa was wonderful to work with, collaborating to meet the design brief requirements and our needs at all times. Thank you Desert Gem.
I recently purchased a Desert Gem tote bag. The first thing that caught my eye was the unique design, and beautiful earthy colours contrasted with cool blues. The bags are really well made. I carry a lot of things around in mine and it is comfortable to hang on your shoulder or across your body like a satchel bag. The inside pocket is really handy for car keys or a mobile phone. I couldn’t recommend them enough.
On behalf of Volunteering WA and Homeless Connect Perth I would like to express our sincere gratitude to you for your very generous donation of your beautiful flip flops which were distributed through our donations marquee last week.
It is only through support from our community that Homeless Connect Perth is able to continue and your wonderful donation was put to good use this year.
Once again we had over 2000 homeless and marginalised guests in attendance and were proud to be able to provide them with access to advice and support from over 90 service providers in attendance, including doctors, dentists, lawyers and optometrists, as well as food, clothing and personal grooming.
Homeless Connect Perth is about the whole community working together to extend some hope, dignity and joy to homeless and marginalised people and to show them that their wellbeing and life matters.
We thank you for being part of our community and for your generous support of Homeless Connect Perth. It is much appreciated.
We are so grateful for the donations of thongs from Desert Gem and our residents have been delighted to receive such a gift. We all love the designs and colours and our people proudly wear them. Other people in Kalgoorlie have asked where to get a supply for their use.
When I went to Zimbabwe with Desert Gem flip flops my family was so excited and they loved them up to now. It’s been over a year now and they are still wearing them. They say a very strong people walk a lot and they still use them.
On behalf of the Hunter Homeless Connect Inc. committee, I would like to extend our sincere thanks for your donation of the beautiful Aboriginal dot design flip flops to people in our region who are experiencing homelessness or severe housing stress.
We will distribute these at our upcoming annual event, Hunter Homeless Connect Day, which will be held at the Newcastle Showground Exhibition Centre on the 7th August 2019.
We are sure they will be very well received and very much appreciated.
